Seven killed as militants attack CRPF camp in Srinagar

Two militants and five Central Reserve Police Force personnel were killed in a suicide attack on a CRPF camp close to Police Public School in Bemina area of Srinagar in Kashmir valley on Wednesday.

Follow up:

Two fidayeen (suicide squads) and five CRPF men were killed in the terror attack, official sources confirmed The Hindu and said that at least six more persons were believed to have sustained injuries.

This is the first suicide attack in Kashmir in three years. In January 2010, three militants and five others were killed in a 48-hour operation at the Srinagar's major business nerve centre of Lalchowk.
